THE BOARD PALETTE, AT EVERY SCREEN WIDTH
   C:\Users\Rossi\Desktop\tracketing-dashboard\assets\css\board-tokens.css

WHY THIS FILE EXISTS (2026-09-26, the brand timeline). The timeline brief makes the Tracketing
theme a hard requirement: every colour in timeline code comes from an existing theme variable,
and no colour value may appear in timeline code at all. The board's variables live in two places
today, and neither could be read from a new page:

     - dashboard.html declares a SUBSET inline (--bg-primary, --text-primary, --accent ...), so
       nothing outside that page can reach it;
     - assets/css/board-shell.css declares the full set, but only INSIDE @media (min-width: 1024px),
because below that width the insights feed it serves turns dark. A timeline on a phone would
have had no colours at all.

So this is board-shell.css's desktop palette, VALUE FOR VALUE, applied at every width, the way the
board itself is light on every screen. It adds no new colour. tools/validate.js holds every value
here equal to board-shell.css's, so the two cannot drift apart; change a colour in board-shell.css
and this file must follow or the build goes red.

SCOPED, NOT GLOBAL (2026-09-28, the timeline inside the AI board). It applies inside any element
with the class trk-board-tokens: the <html> of timeline.html and admin-timeline.html (so there it
covers the whole page, as before), and ONLY the timeline's panel inside dashboard.html. The board
declares a smaller set inline and lacks eight of the variables the timeline reads (amber for the
second brand among them); a global copy would have re-coloured all four boards, including the one
known difference: board-shell's --text-muted is #767676, which clears 4.5:1 on the grey page,
where dashboard.html still says #888888 (3.5:1). Settling that for the whole board is its own
change, not a side effect of this one.
